Course description:The Ecology of the Southwest Uplands provides a various life zones of southwest New Mexico including the organisms that characterize these areas and species prevalent in certain zones. This is a hybrid,m field-based course with both an online component and an intensive and record-keeping in the field. The laboratory section of this course consists primarily of field identification and Tularosa Basin, and includes maintenance of a comprehensive field notebook as well as an oral presentation on a specific subject related to the course. Additional fees are associated with this offering.
