Course description:This class introduces students to programming fundamentals using the C and C++ programming languages with an emphasis on syntax, semantics and structured programming style. Students practice the C/C++ programming language via class work as well as laboratory experiences/exercises solving mathematical and scientific problems. Students design, write and implement programs. Prerequisite: Completion of, or concurrent enrollment in, MATH 1216, 1220, 1230, 1510 or 1530. (F, S)
