Course description:Effective classroom and behavior management procedures that result in minimizing discipline problems, building healthy student-teacher interactions, and creating a safe learning environment for all students. Current issues confronting secondary education; students learn how to engage in analysis of critical issues in education; course is held at the Secondary Professional Development School in the Portales Municipal School District. Experience required experience required in the assigned public-school classroom. Concurrent enrollment in SED 402 and SED 402L required. Prerequisites: admission to Gateway II. (F) This class will be meeting virtually at 8am-10:45am on Thursday, attendance is required
