SOWK 341 Social Welfare Policy (3) Course examines the history and current structures of social policy and services affecting multiple populations within a global context. Through research and analysis of social, cultural, economic, organizational, and environmental influences, students will explore how policies impact clients on the micro, mezzo, and macro levels of practice. Course covers formulation, analysis, implementation, and evaluation processes with an emphasis on populations at risk, current policy, and social and economic justice. Open to all students. (F, S)
