Course description:(Formerly ECE 240) Developmentally appropriate curriculum content in early childhood programs, age 3 through Grade 3. Development and implementation of curriculum in all content areas, including literacy, numeracy, the arts, health and emotional wellness, science, motor and social skills. Adapting content areas to meet the needs of children with special needs and the development of IEPs. Sixty (60) hours of field experience required. Concurrent enrollment: ECED 2131. Prerequisites: ECED 2120/2121; admission to Gateway I. (S)
