Course description:Theoretical bases for developing behaviors conducive to well-being. Elements of planning, developing, implementing and evaluating health promotion programs, including ethics, needs assessment, the writing of goals and objectives, construction of evaluation instruments. Practical skills of peer education focused on healthy lifestyles. Includes such concepts as interpersonal relationships, health and wellness issues, and behavior change models. Development of skills in leadership, resource building and communication. (Even F)
