Course description:Wildland Firefighting Experience grants students credit for time spent operational incident assignments. Credit granted is at the discretion of the lead faculty member, but must be verifiable with an official task book, and Resource Evaluation and/or verification by a fireline supervisor. It is recommended that you contact and work with a local volunteer Fire Department and/or apply to a land management (USFS, BLM, BIA, FWS, NPS or State) agency for summer employment.
