Course description:Extensive supervised experience in a setting closely aligned with student's chosen program. The primary goal is the integration of process, conceptualization, professional and interpersonal skills. Requires approximately 20 contact hours of field site experience per week for a total of 300 contact hours per semester. The Master of Arts in Counseling requires two semesters of COUN 598 for a total of six semester hours and 600 contact hours. The Master of Education in School Counseling requires one semester of COUN 598 for a total of three semester hours and 300 contact hours. Prerequisite: COUN 597 and successful completion of CPCE a semester prior to ro during COUN 598. (F, S)
