Course description:A foundation course exploring both technical and conceptual processes of motion graphics for television and video, using primarily Adobe After Effects. Course investigates observation, timing, storyboarding, layout, composition, image compositing and sound production for motion graphics. In addition, the choreography of 2-D visual elements is discussed to enhance artistic expression and conceptual impact. (Lab fee required) Prerequisites: ART 142, 143. (F)
