Course description:This course is part one of an integrated systems approach covering gross human anatomy, histology and physiological function. This section covers terminology, basic biochemistry, cellular metabolism, cell structure and cell function. Structural anatomy is included, covering the skeletal and muscular systems. The integumentary and digestive systems are studied, as well as whole-body nutrition and metabolism. Core requisite: BIOL 209L required. BIOL 154/154L prerequisite.
