Enhances and refines skills in cultivating sources generating story ideas, information gathering strategies and techniques, interviewing, reporting, writing and Associated Press style. Emphasizes computer-assisted, in-depth and investigative journalism. (Lab fee required.) Prerequisites: COMM 204, 205. (S)
