Course description:This course covers the basic attending and relationship building skills needed to develop and establish a therapeutic counseling relationship. Students will learn how to establish clear counseling goals and objectives, design intervention strategies, evaluate client outcome, and terminate the counseling relationship. Students will also learn a basic model for direct intervention. Pre-requisites: COUN 501, 533, 544. (S, Su)
