Course description:A survey of modern variants of feminist theory and an examination of the rhetoric surrounding the project of women's liberation. The course encourages students to read rhetorical texts from a feminist standpoint, to recognize implicit rhetorical theories in feminist (and other discourses), and to determine which feminist approaches ar appropriate to various kinds of texts.
