Course description:This course will give students a fundamental understanding of electrical circuits, basic components of an electrical circuit, electricity flow and an explanation of the basic units used to measure electricity. This course will cover principles of AC, DC electricity and basic rules for calculating voltage, current, resistance and power. Students will examine the basic principles of interpreting electrical prints, and will be giving an overview of various meters used in electrical maintenance.
