Course description:Disability conditions/situations as experienced from multiple perspectives (e.g., individuals with disability and society); relationship/interconnectedness between personal, cultural and global agendas; considers the various models of viewing disability as well as defining disability across global frameworks (e.g., the World Health Organization); attention to individual/societal response, cultural/ethical considerations, personal and civic responsibilities, and laws and the justice system as they pertain to disability.
