Course description: | (Formerly ECED 485) Addresses curriculum content relevant for children birth through age four in developmentally and culturally sensitive ways; integrates content into teaching and learning experiences in natural environments and center-based programs. Adapts content areas to meet needs of children with disabilities; develops IFSPs. Curriculum development in all areas, including literacy, numeracy, the arts, health, science, social skills, and adaptive learning for children. One hundred and twenty (120) hours of field experience required. Licensure students must complete this field experience in a public-school setting. Prerequisite: admission to Teacher Education Program. (S) |
