An introduction to sequential logic with HDL, review of latches and flip/flops, timers, counters/registers, PLD implementation, finite state machine design/analysis, logic testing and timing analysis. Focus on sequential and finite state machines. Analysis of timing characteristics for flip-flops and latches are included. Prerequisites: EET 241/L. Concurrent enrollment: EET 242L. (S) |
