| Course description: | This course is designed to provide a general overview of telepractice along with clinical issues that impact the practice of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Topics that will covered include an introduction to the diverse settings where speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists practice, the basic structure and clientele of the practice settings, challenges that SLPs and audiologists may encounter when working with culturally diverse clients, and the roles of SLPs and audiologists within these various settings. Clinical supervision, ethics, and post-graduation preparation will also be presented. (F) |
