Course description:Introduction to the study of the physics of sound (acoustics) as it relates to human speech and hearing. Topics include sound generation, transmission, wave analysis, manipulation, and measurement using instrumentation and computer applications. In addition, perceptual correlates of sound and auditory perception will be addressed related to the process of hearing and hearing measurement. Prerequisites: CDIS 300. (F, S, Su)
