Course description: | (Formerly BIOL 110L) Students will gain practical experience and hands-on application of the common techniques used in wildlife and fisheries sciences. This will be accomplished through the completion of exercises, discussions, and student presentations. The field of wildlife and fisheries is becoming more and more quantitative. Therefore, students will learn how to transform the data collected in the field to the Excel® format. Students will also get familiar with manipulating Google Earth and Geographic Information System and its use in wildlife sciences. Concurrent enrollment: BIOL 1650 (F) |
