| Course description: | Close reading from the perspective of a creative writer. Students will read works of literature with the goal of studying elements of craft. Students will also read what professional writers have written about other writers and about aspects of writing itself. The course will concentrate on fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Prerequisite: ENGL 1120 with a “C” or better. Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 2310. (Even F) |
